Like many breweries, each December San Francisco’s Anchor Steam Brewery proudly unveils its new Christmas Beer. The city’s oldest Craft Brewery offers its faithful customers a new take on its Holiday Brew – a tradition dating back to 1975!
From deep within the inviting chocolate-brown body, beneath a creamy tan head, this Christmas beer breathes big burned sugar and festive spice notes, with just a sweet slice of banana loaf cake.
The rich, velvety body paints a similar picture, with sweet toffee malts and warm bittersweet chocolate tones galore. There’s also a delicious nutty quality that leads you gently but firmly to a satisfying spiced finish.
Available in a 1.5 litre Magnum to share the festive spirit!

About Anchor Brewing Co
Anchor Brewing Company was founded in 1896 and was purchased by Frederick Louis Maytag III in 1965, saving it from closure. It moved to its current location in 1979. It is one of the last remaining breweries to produce California common beer, also known as Steam Beer, a trademark owned by the company.
Delivery Information
We currently offer both a local delivery service and a nationwide shipping option. Local delivery is available for addresses within a 5-mile radius of WF8 1AQ, with the fee depending on distance and calculated at checkout. For customers outside this area, we offer nationwide shipping options. We use a next day liquid service to ensure rapid delivery, employing robust and secure packaging to safeguard your products. Orders placed before 1pm are usually handed over to the courier the same day for delivery on the next working day. However, whilst most deliveries should arrive the next working day, this cannot be guaranteed as delays can occur within the courier network that are beyond our control.
